CAP is using Slack to streamline communication between team members. The Labor Coordinator will send an invitation at the time of onboarding.
For general communication and questions crew, my message in the #all-capital-a-productions channel. Examples: needing a shift covered, important announcements, training opportunities, etc.
New channels will be created for each job labeled by the date, job name, and number. Each confirmed crew member will be added to the channel by the labor coordinator. The team lead will be noted in that channel and a link to the Google Drive folder with all advance information. Team should communicate in that channel about all details related to that job.
We use Google Drive to store and share all information for each job. You have been given access to the Google Drive Active Show folder. Each job will also be linked in Slack and Lasso for easy access. In the Active Shows folder, you will find an individual folder for each job. They will be labeled by the event date (Y/M/D), event name, and job number.
In each job folder, you will find the Team Lead SOP. If you are the lead on a show, you will need to follow this guidance sheet and fill out the Post Event Evaluation at the bottom of the document. You will also find a Client Info folder. The client has access to this folder as well. In the Client info folder, you will find a copy of the agreement, the advance we have done with the client, and is where you will find most of the information you need, including any stage plots, input lists, sight maps, etc.
All files are live docs that you can update as you go via computer or mobile phone. We will archive old shows in the Past Shows folder.
